Sai Baba of Shirdi, also known as Shirdi Sai Baba, was an Indian spiritual master and fakir who lived from around 1838 to October 15, 1918. He is revered as a saint by both Hindu and Muslim devotees, during and after his lifetime. Sai Baba’s teachings emphasized the importance of self-realization and detachment from material possessions. He promoted a moral code based on love, forgiveness, helping others, charity, contentment, inner peace and devotion to God.
