The Hawkins Hevibase Pressure Cooker is made of pure virgin aluminum and is compatible with induction cooktops, featuring a thick stainless steel bottom plate. It’s safe for use on various cooktops like gas, electric, halogen, ceramic, and induction. The double-thick base is great for light frying before pressure cooking, ensuring it stays flat and doesn’t bulge. Suitable for gas, electric, ceramic, and halogen cooktops. The Hawkins Ekobase model with a hard anodized base was also available, suitable for various cooktops but not for induction. Note that this product is no longer available in some markets.
